Wazid Ali Mansoori (also known as Wajid Ali Mansuri) is an entrepreneur, technologist and PhD scholar in Sociology at Career Point University, Kota. Born and raised in Kota, Rajasthan, he is the founder and director of WeConnect Soft Solutions Pvt Ltd, which he started in 2015, and of Garage2Global Ventures Pvt Ltd, where he leads the technical side. Starting as a small startup in 2011, the business grew to serve about 25,000 customers in the USA, Canada and Puerto Rico, through a US arm, iConnect Soft Solutions LLC. Today his businesses span software and travel services, with offices in Kota, Udaipur and Gurugram.
He began his career in 2011 with hands-on electronics and mobile and computer hardware repair, down to chip level, and went on to build software, websites and AI-driven solutions. His core expertise today is getting real work done with AI tools and connecting websites with the right third-party tools and integrations. Over the years he has also started, run and wound up ventures in other sectors, including restaurants, and he draws on these first-hand lessons to mentor entrepreneurs and students on business, studies and life choices. His PhD research brings this practical experience of technology and business together with sociological inquiry. His research interests centre on how people are coming to depend on artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT and Claude, and on the effects of social media on daily life and on wider social issues.

A keen traveller, Wazid has explored about 12 countries so far, including the United Kingdom (England and Wales), Spain (Barcelona and Ibiza), the Netherlands, Belgium, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong and Macao, along with many places across India, from Ladakh and Kashmir to Goa.
